Geometric design and strength check out of spur gear along with straight and helical toothing. Application is developed within MS

Excel, is multi-language and supports Imperial plus Metric units and resolves the following main duties:

- Calculation of helical and straight toothing (external).

- Automatic design associated with a transmission with the particular minimum number of insight requirements.

- Design regarding entered coefficients of protection (static, dynamic).

- Computation of complete geometric variables (including corrected toothing).

: Optimization of toothing simply by use of proper modification (balancing specific slips, miminizing specific slips, strength... ).

- Calculation of power parameters, safety check.

: Type of gearing for specific axis distance.

- Ancillary calculations (calculation of variables from the existing gear, temp rise, design of shafts,

check dimensions).

- Assistance of 2D and THREE DIMENSIONAL CAD systems.

- Images of an accurate teeth shape including data (X, Y coordinates).

- Assistance of 2D CAD (AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, IntelliCAD, Ashlar Graphite, TurboCAD) and THREE DIMENSIONAL CAD in full

computation package (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Pro/E). The computations use procedures,

algorithms plus data from

standards AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE, ISO, DIN, BS plus specialized literature. Used specifications: ISO 6336, ISO 1328, DIN 3990, ANSI
