This is an arcade/action game.

Chevy sonic goes to visit his / her friends, the Flickies, about Flicky Island. He becomes pleasantly surprised when he comes, though. That evil Medical doctor Robotnik has surfaced once more and is making use of the specific location-warping powers in the Flickies in his never finishing pursuit of the Chaos Emeralds. Works out that the Flickies posses the strength, when assembled in fives, to bending from location to place using ring portals. Chevy sonic decides to free his / her friends from Robotnik in addition to crush the madmans goals.
