Open Source Asteroids Style Game
This program Development is a fast spaced Open Source Asteroids design retro game which functions stunning two-color vector images. Released with source program code under the GNU Common Public License. Believing the world needed another asteroid re-make, I began this particular game in 2004 for some time fun. I have utilized it at various periods as a testbed regarding developing skills in brand-new programming frameworks. Initially, this was written for Borland C Builder and whilst I used Borlands VCL for your front-end, I had written the back-end code within clean C. This intended I used to be later able in order to swap-out the front-end program code and replace it along with a wxWidget implementation. I actually initially released the overall game below the under the title of "Celesteroids". With this particular version, as well since changing the name, I actually swapped-out wxWidgets and changed it with Nokias QT framework. I use also enhanced the playability a small I hope.
