Network Monitor
This program monitors Home windows, UNIX, LINUX and Novell servers, workstations and IP devices. It runs something on Windows 2008/2003/2000/7/Vista machine platforms. It is a good agent less product; the particular software is only attached to a central server.
Once the engine detects a failing, it alerts via email, pager, SNMP Trap (SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c) notification or SMS information (support for TAPI, Unicode, TAP, UCP and SMPP). The application takes a further action automatically.
The item includes the following pre-installed checks: AD, ADSI, Anti virus software, CPU Usage, sources, directory size, disk healthful, DNS, disk drive, storage space, event log (incl. content checking), MS Swap, file existence (incl. articles checking), file size, FILE TRANSFER PROTOCOL, TFTP, HTTP(s) (incl. articles checking), humidity, ICA, ICMP/Ping, IMAP4, memory usage, MASTER OF SCIENCE SQL Database, MS BizTalk, MS Hyper-V, MS Information Queue, MS Sharepoint, Novell NDS, NTDS (NT4 suitable DS), NTP, POP3 email server, PowerShell, RADIUS, inkjet printer, process, process memory use, removable drives, Windows Planned Task, Windows service, SMTP mail server, SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c, TCP port (incl. handshaking), UDP, Windows Terminal Server, temp (requires a Sensatronics THIS thermometer), UNIX shell software (SSH), VBScript (custom scripts), Powershell (custom scripts), WMI and much more. Custom check programs are supported by the particular use of VBScript, Powershell or SSH.
Advanced working and reporting through MASTER OF SCIENCE SQL, MS Access plus Oracle.
Reports are structured on XML/XSL and may be scheduled daily, every week, monthly, etc.
