HS NMEA GPS C Source Library 1.0
HS GPS is a software program library (with full Chemical source code) which offers access to a NMEA-183 compliant GPS receiver through a serial communications slot, decoding NMEA sentences: $GPGGA, $GPGSA, $GPGSV, $GPGLL, $GPRMC and $GPVTG. Decoded guidelines include: time, date, placement, altitude, speed, course plus heading, according to regular - NMEA-183 (National Sea Electronics Association, Interface Regular 0183.
* HOW THIS WORKS: HS GPS collection continuously reads asynchronous information stream from the serial slot and analyses the info to recognize and decode NMEA-183 Protocol sentences. Right after each message is obtained it is checked with regard to integrity by comparing the particular received and the determined checksum. The NMEA phrase fields are then transformed from ASCII values in to C structure variables plus passed as much as user software code.
