Free tool for subjective video quality tests.
Freely available tool for near professional visual comparison assessments execution. Tool implements blind testing schema - specialists dont know, which codec is utilized for particular movie.
You can make two types of subjective video comparisons and apply different ways of analysis of experts opinion, including estimation of experts reliability. You can test a number of codecs (filters) simultaneously, it is going to produce more qualitative assessment.
Metric software contains two programs:
* Task manager (planner and statistics calculation tool)
* Player -- tool for experts, that plays test sequences:
2. with 3 seconds rewind (if allowed in task)
* with pause (if allowed in task)
2. showing one pair several times (for expert stability evaluation)
* with final tag
Tool supports. avi and. avs (AviSynth) files.
