This program is an easy to use software that monitors all ink jet printers connected to a machine and records all printing job details.
Cyclope Business Printer Monitor has been developed to help managers and system administrators better assess and control the printing costs and needs, using the aim of reducing the total cost of printing. The application monitors all ink jet printers within the specified network and record all the data related to a printing job: the day and time of printing, the printer name, the user requesting the print, the computer the request was produced from and the number of pages in each job.
This program can calculate printing costs for each printer (black and white or color) and based on this, managers can set printing restrictions if the budget is exceeded.
The recorded information is organized in reports which can also be viewed inside a printing-friendly manner. Aggregated Period Data are also available.
The application allows managers to add quotas and restrictions with regard to users and groups: duplicate printing restriction; document title, computer name printing restrictions. Also managers can examine for top 10 most active printers, users, groups, computers, papers, dates and ports.
This program has the possibility to monitor up to four thousand printers.
