GPS Receiver ActiveX Control

This program is an award-winning ActiveX control that communicates along with a serial GPS recipient.

It returns latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, heading plus many other parameters from the position.

This control works together with any NMEA compatible recipient connected to one associated with the serial ports.

You can use it also with USB devices, because these devices usually have a driver that redirects the input from the USB port to a virtual serial port. If your device is just not provided with such a driver, after that use an USB control whose vendor provides the virtual serial port motorist, such as FTDI or even use an USB/RS-232 adapter.

The component is expanded to calculate distances System.Drawing.Bitmap conversions between different dimension units.

With this handle it is possible to develop powerful GPS applications in any kind of ActiveX supporting development environment. Possible applications can be:
