Powerful anti spam filter for mail relays
SpamAssassin is a mail filtration which attempts to recognize spam by using a variety regarding mechanisms including text research, Bayesian filtering, DNS blocklists, and collaborative filtering sources.
SpamAssassin is a job of the Apache Application Foundation (ASF). SpamAssassin had been adapted for Windows by simply JAM Software. In blend with a MTA (e. g. Hamster or MASTER OF SCIENCE Exchange) its an extremely anti-spam solution.
The freeware includes, beside several modules, typically the following SpamAssassin components since

- spamassassin. exe (mail filter)
: spamd. exe (daemonized variation of SpamAssassin)
- WinSpamC. exe (client for spamd)
- sa-update. exe (SpamAssassin rule updates)
- sa-learn. exe (trains bayes filtration with spam/ham mail)
