Shutdown multiple workstations over a network
RemoteShutdown allows an NT/2K/XP Manager to remotely shutdown a variety of NT/2K/XP Workstations over which usually they have got administrative control through whether GUI interface or even a command-line interface.
A person can specify a hold off, which can either become an absolute time (eg. 8pm) or a comparative time (eg. "20 moments from now"), during which usually a message you designate can be displayed. On the other hand you are able to specify an arręt suddenly. Applications running upon the target machine(s) in the time of arręt could be allowed to near, or could be terminated instantly.
Whilst plan remote arręt is happening, you may abort the shutdown associated with any or all associated with the workstations on the particular shutdown list.
You may also carry out a delayed shutdown of your (local) machine, with optionally available support for APM power-off
Options can be arranged via both a GUI along with a command-line interface. Organizations of workstations can become specified in the GUI and saved* for make use of later with either the particular GUI or command-line user interface, allowing repetitive automated arręt to become performed.
To create full utilization of RemoteShutdown a person must be running Home windows NT/2K/XP. Whilst you could do local delayed arręt under Windows95/98/ME, remote arręt are not supported.
