Small .NET network protocol (NNTP) library
Microsoft’s. NET Framework class collection doesn’t support certain typical communication protocols, for instance, the NNTP and POP3 protocols. Although still within its infancy, Smilla’s. INTERNET Communication Library is trying to fill the space. By using Smilla’s course library, developers can include NNTP protocol support in order to their applications for benefits such as:
• Reading through newsgroups
• Reading typical MIME types
• Publishing new articles (simple textual content only)
• Supporting accessories
Developers can therefore create Windows Forms and OR NET. NET (Web Forms) customer newsreader apps. The collection has been written within C#, but is not really marked as CLS up to date. It is distributed underneath the GNU Lesser General General public License and is open up source. Further protocols are usually supposed to be additional later on, eventually residing inside separate assemblies.
