Guitar Music Note Flash Card Game
This program Development is the interactive guitar flash card game that helps you learn the note names for the guitar and get you on your way to reading music. Its very simple and fun to play! Each game presents a random selection of 20 notes, displayed one at a time, and you will be asked to identify where it lives on the fingerboard by selecting its name, string number and fret number. Three challenge levels, review of missed notes at end of every game. Heres how it works:
First select the challenge level to play:
Level 1 (Just Got a Guitar) covers the notes in what we call Zone 1 - all the notes on every string up to and including the 4th fret (and the open strings). As you know, some notes have two names, such because F# (also known because Gb); both spellings are included making a total of 50 possible notice names to master (48 in Level 2 and 47 in Level 3). Each game presents a random selection of 20 notes, displayed one in a time, and you will be asked to recognize where it lives around the guitar by selecting the name, string number plus fret number. If a person entered the right solution, you can advance in order to the next selection simply by clicking Next. If if youre answer was incorrect, a person have the option associated with entering another answer (Try Again) or skipping in order to the next note (Next). You get points with regard to correct answers (5 factors for first try solutions, 2. 5 point with regard to second try answers) with the end of the particular game your score will be expressed like a percentage (after any notes you skipped are be presented with regard to review).
Level 2 (Have Some Chops) covers the particular notes about what we contact Zone 2 - almost all the notes on each string from the fifth fret to the eighth fret, all spellings.
Degree 3 (Virtuoso) covers the particular notes in what all of us call Zone 3 -- all the notes upon every string from your ninth fret to the twelfth fret, all spellings.
Free of charge practice/study sheets for every level are available in www.Music4ClassicalGuitar.com (Look for "Notes on the Guitar" within the Technique section).
Good searching and have fun!
