Urfin is a network file search engine
Urfin is a search tool that helps you to find files in your nearby Windows network. It offers all information about files located in shared directories on computers within your office.
Urfin is a server system, that is periodically scanning all available in Windows LAN computers and domain names, and stores all collected details about found files in its database. Using any browser users can access Urfin as an usual Web site, enter search criteria for files they need (e. g. *. mp3, 2.. gif, or even using regular expressions like *notep*. exe) and get results in browser as URLs pointing on these documents.
Urfin doesnt need any additional software installed on the server. On the client side any browser can be used to access all Urfin solutions.
