WinMind is a single player game for Windows
This program is a single-player sport. Your goal is to break the secret code produced by the computer. This code is made of 5 slots which can be either empty (expert mode only) or contain a ball randomly chosen among balls from 8 different colors.
This program offers you three different modes: beginner, advanced or expert that use different code creation techniques:
- Beginner mode: This program fills all slots with balls and each ball offers its own color.
-- Intermediate mode: This program fills all slots with tennis balls and several balls may share the same color.
- Expert mode: This program may leave empty 1 or several slots and several balls may discuss the same color.
You have up to 12 guesses to break the code. In case you neglect to break the code, This program will display the code. When you suggest a code by pressing the OK switch, the computer gives you these information:
- Anytime a perfect match exists with regard to a slot (same color, same place), a black peg is shown.
-- Anytime a match is present (same color) a white peg is displayed.
