When data loss occurs, your own imaged data (files, directories, partitions) will be accessible to you in simply no time with just the few clicks - even if Windows cannot be started anymore!
Differences to previous version
Besides the continuous maintenance and enhancement of the existing program components, you will find several additional new and helpful features in Version 4. For example , the new interactive DiskView offers a complete overview of the entire hard disk. Free and used space, as well as the size of the individual partitions are displayed. Managing your data will be greatly facilitated. The new additional compression process BZIP2 compresses data in blocks thus increasing the rate of compression. In addition it is also possible to convert images into virtual drives (VHD)and to include them directly to the Microsoft Virtual PC – without previous installation of O and O DiskImage.
Prevent data loss with time-scheduled imaging
With the help of an useful Wizard you can set that the data will be imaged regularly at predefined times. Differential and incremental images can now also be created automatically.
Exclusive methods for data backup
Besides the time control, O and O DiskImage offers different imaging methods. With the complete imaging option, you can choose between a space-saving used sector image and an all-encompassing forensic image for the purposes of a data recovery – for example when using products from the award-winning O and O RescueBox. You safe space with an incremental or differential image: Only data sectors which have changed will be imaged.
Quick and convenient restoration
Our BareMetal technology enables you to immediately resurrect a system using O and O DiskImage without you having to previously install it. The included and bootable CD is based on Microsoft Windows and contains all standard drivers.
