The particular Windows/CE Standard Serial Marketing communications Library for eVB (WSC4eVB) is a serial slot communication library for Inlayed Visual Basic (eVB) applications for that Pocket PC (PPC) as well as the Handheld PC (HPC).
WSC4eVB includes 33 serial port functions plus XMODEM and YMODEM protocols, plus a choice of eVB example applications. Requires Microsoft Embedded Equipment 3. 0.
WSC4eVB functions include:
* Can manage any serial device linked to the serial slot.
* Can control several ports simultaneously.
* Will be fully thread safe.
2. Supports Windows/CE Pocket PERSONAL COMPUTER (PPC) and Handheld PERSONAL COMPUTER (HPC).
* Will not rely on support libraries. Helps make calls to Win/CE API functions only.
* Furthermore use with eVC (Embedded Visual C/C ).
