Created for both individual and corporate use, PocketLANce opens new horizons with regard to business people, software designers, mobile professionals or house users: now they could function with their corporate or even personal LAN resources utilizing their Pocket PCs both outdoors and inside of their own offices. This application offers an unique easy-to-use choice of locating, retrieving plus moving/copying network files through conventional ActiveSync connection, system card or even cellular phone/modem. PocketLANce also starts far-reaching possibilities of remote control mobile network access through cell phone or modem making use of RAS (Remote Access Service) or DUN (Dial-Up Networking). It allows external customers and mobile professionals in order to access the neighborhood network at any time and anywhere, as in case they were locally coupled to the enterprise LAN. PocketLANce could work without ActiveSync connection when utilizing network cards. So, when the network card is set up, placing your Pocket PERSONAL COMPUTER into cradle is not really necessary. Also optional peer-to-peer mode is available.
