Capture and supervise with face detector
This program has been designed since general software for security hybrid platforms functioning concurrently with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same appearance and functionality on the local and distant computers. Users watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete management of the software using network that surveillance station can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition significantly increases reliability because all components proceed as autonomous programs. If one part stops working, other parts go on working. For instance if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` module. The software does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be triggered by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video can be quite easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart computer through Web interface. The program makes synchronized video playback for event examination from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
