Akeni Enterprise Instant Messaging IM LDAP
Akeni Enterprise Instant Messaging I AM is an enterprise messages system that offers strong encryption, along with Active Directory / LDAP integration. It also provides corporate i am messaging policy management via the use of discussed public groups and part based user access privileges. All messages can be logged into flat files and databases to allow for searching and auditing.
Features consists of IM chat, conference, document transfer, notification, alerts, on the internet status, and optional internet client module.
Shared general public folders allows the administrator to easily manage user accounts from one central location. By adding/removing users from the shared open public folder the administrator may change everyones contact checklist in one single procedure.
The role based accessibility right system allows the administrator to control whether users are allowed to send files, initiate chats and conferences, and in order to "lock down" users get in touch with lists.
