This program is a single player action role-playing game (RPG) with strong strategy elements. You perform like a faction leader protecting the barbarian city, Jorvik, by destroying threatening creatures and completing quests. In the same time, you compete with rival factions to see who will tip the city. Barbarians choose their leaders by battling to the death!

Like a faction leader, you must cope with rival factions via diplomacy, trade, and in time, war. Between battles and raids against some other barbarian factions, you develop the most powerful faction possible, to withstand your enemies. Building the energy of the faction involves discovering a fantasy world, slaying dangerous monsters, solving missions for that city, avoiding fatal traps, and plundering loot to talk about within your unit.
