This program is a good easy-to-use, reliable, user-friendly plus smart program that permits you create encrypted storage partition (drive letter) to keep your private and confidential data secure. It keeps your confidential data in a strongly encrypted form on your disk and provides you with transparent access to it from any application program. The encrypted partition resides in a single file which is simple to backup to any kind of media like a recordable CD or DVD in order to protect it from information loss.

ViPNet Safe Storage creates virtual disk upon your hard drive and other external storage gadgets. Once an user generates a virtual encrypted storage, that disk is designated a new drive letter and appears to the user like any other system drive (like the A: or C: drive).

In the working process the system is creating file so-called "container", whose size is specified by user; the files are displayed as logic disks. Once the disk is mounted, the information is automatically encrypted and decrypted when the user produces or reads this information respectively. When the storage is unmounted, either personally or by logging out there of Windows, the protected data it has becomes totally unreadable and undetectable simply by the operating system.

Best of all, since Safe Disk appears to Windows as another push letter, it is instantly compatible with nearly every standard business application, word processor, spreadsheet or database program.
