CallerID detection and display
WhoCalls will use your modem to detect the CallerID of a calling party. Unknown caller ID (caller identification or CID, and more properly calling number identification CNID, also known as CLID: calling line identity or CLIP: calling line recognition presentation) is a telephone service that transmits the caller number to the called party telephone gear during the ringing transmission or when the call is being set upward but before the phone call is clarified. WhoCalls will never answer the particular call, just display the particular caller information (if transmitted). If the caller has already been in the database, the details and a picture will be displayed. A person may also use WhoCalls to show the caller info within an external database. Examples of a Call Middle in MsAccess, Excel plus MsOutlook are included. Whenever configured like a server, WhoCalls only needs one modem for the Caller IDENTIFICATION detection and then redirects the caller information in order to its clients on the particular network.
