Wargame covering Operation Typhoon in 1941.
Fight for Moscow recreates the particular German unsuccessfull attempt to capture Moscow in late 1941, followed by the Russian counter-offensive that denied the German any chance to conclude the eastern war that year. To win, the German must march hard towards the Russian capital, capturing it ensuring them a great victory, on the other hand, the Russians should keep Moscow out associated with German reach and push axis units back in order to their starting position simply by the end of winter season.
This program will be a turn based wargame. It uses classic guidelines like hex movements, ZOCs, combat odds, supply, multi-steps units, reinforcements, replacements, train movement, variable / historic weather, etc. It is played on a map of 16x10 hexs, with an average of 50 units. There are 2 scenarios and a full campaign that lasts for up to 14 turns. One player will control the German army, the other plays the Soviet forces.
